In this episode curator Max Hollein talks about the Art at the LAC project, artist Beat Streuli talks about his work at the LAC and his future projects, and we follow project manager Michael Neff on the guided tour to the work of Elmgreen & Dragset, who installed doors with a touch of humor. The artists chosen for the project are Liam Gillick, Carsten Nicolai, Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset, Michael Beutler, Cerith Wyn Evans, Thomas Demand and Beat Streuli. The Lufthansa Aviation Center has been designed by Ingenhoven Architekten. The persons responsible for “Art at the LAC” are Stefan Lauer (Member of the Executive Board, Deutsche Lufthansa AG), Christoph Ingenhoven (Architect), Max Hollein (Curator and Director Schirn Kunsthalle, Städelsches Kunstinstitut und Liebighaus, Frankfurt am Main), Nicolaus Schafhausen (Curator and Director Witte de With, Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam), and galerist Michael Neff (project manager).
