Attila Csörgő: Untitled / Galerija Gregor Podnar, Berlin

On the occasion of the opening of the new gallery house in Lindenstrasse 34/35 in Berlin Galerija Gregor Podnar presents a key work by Budapest-based artist Attila Csörgő in the gallery’s new exhibition space. Untitled (2000) belongs to four related works: geometrical formulas become visualized through kinetic models. In 1997 Attila Csörgő realized a first version (Platonic Love, now in the collection of Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw). In Untitled a tetrahedron, a cube and an octahedron are slowly transformed into a dodecahedron. Galerija Gregor Podnar was established in 2003 by Gregor Podnar, the former artistic director of Galerija Å kuc (Ljubljana). The gallery aims to be an exhibition space combining curatorial concepts and gallery work. Galerija Gregor Podnar has exhibition spaces in Ljubljana / Slovenia and Berlin / Germany.
