The contribution of Egypt to the 14th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia is titled Amnesia and aims to reflect the changes of the architecture style in Egypt and its development over the past 100 years. The Egyptian government decided to open a public competition in order to encourage young architects all over the country to get the opportunity to participate in the most important event in the world of architecture. In this video, we attend the opening reception of the Egyptian pavilion in the Biennale’s Giardini on June 7, 2014.
