At the same time as Documenta 14 Athens, the exhibition “Maria Lassnig. The Future is Invented with Fragments from the Past” opened at the Municpal Gallery in Athens, Greece. It’s the last exhibition project that the Maria Lassnig could conceive together with the curator Hans Ulrich Obrist. The exhibition has its focus on works that reflect the artist’s relationship with classic antique, mythology and the greek landscape.
