SaloneSatellite is a show of upcoming design talents running synergically with this year’s furniture fair. Among them are for example Xcellent, Coex Design, Georgio Saltos, Nika Zupanc, Krä, Gesellschaft für neuartige Leuchtengestaltung, Mareike Gast, The Sign Connection, Franzi Kramer and Bernauer.Product. Art schools like the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and the Estonian Academy of Arts present themselves at the Salone Satellite. Jason T. Chernak, student at the SAIC is talking about “waterShed”, an installation which connects Chicago to Chicago’s sister city, Milan. Salone Satellite, Nuova Fiera Milano, Milan, April 7, 2006.

Yes, the system is called “waterShed”, the guy with beard is Jason T. Chernak who studies at the “SAIC”.
