Artnet: Interview with Hans Neuendorf and Thomas Eller
Artnet founder and CEO Hans Neuendorf has recently received the Medal of Honor for outstanding contribution to the visual arts from the National Arts Club. Artnet just announced an exclusive partnership with Art Basel. Beginning in 2007, Art Basel and Art Basel Miami Beach can be visited online. “From the last day of the fair onwards, visitors will be able to navigate the fair with an interactive ground plan and find pictures of the exhibited artworks and the booths.” (PR Artnet). Artfacts.Net took this as an opportunity to meet Hans Neuendorf (CEO Artnet Worldwide, Inc.) and Thomas Eller (Editor-in-Chief Artnet Magazine) at the Artnet headquarters in Berlin. Hans Neuendorf and Thomas Eller talk about the career of Hans Neuendorf, art online services, auction houses, galleries, art fairs, and the current development of the contemporary art market.
