Vincent Geyskens / Envoy Gallery, New York

March 6, 2007

Vincent Geyskens / Envoy Gallery, New York
Envoy Gallery, New York, presents new paintings by Belgian artist Vincent Geyskens (born 1971). Vincent Geyskens lives and works in Brussels, Belgium. “By exploring how gaze and perception works, the artist explores how the image fails. He constantly moves around the painterly construction, content, technical and material conditions of the image, fundamentally positioning two ways of looking, or two ways of an image’s development, across each other” (PR Envoy). Impressions from the opening reception, March 2, 2007.
