“My work is concerned with visual and environmental dynamics of architecture, technology and economics around the turn of the millennium. Specifically, my current three areas of focus are: 1. reworking remainder architectonic traces of Modern and new Post-modern vocabulary in found packaging materials and plastic forms. 2. visually symbolizing the emergence of the internet and social technologies, and 3. developing an iconic ‘global’ emotional lexicon for the 21st Century. The work manifests in range of different media – sculpture, drawings, paintings, installations, printed matter and animations; and projects across multiple media bridge these otherwise distinct bodies of work into a larger comprehensive whole.” (excerpt from artist’s statement January 2007).
