Furniture producer Vitra took the opportunity to present itself during the international art show Art 38 Basel. A rich program of events drew art and design lovers to the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein, approximately 7 km from Art Basel, especially for the opening of the latest exhibition at the Vitra Design Museum, “Home Stories” (MyHome – Seven experiments for contemporary living, 14 June – 16 September 2007), but also the presentation of the Vitra Edition 2007 and the presentation of the plans for the new Vitra House by architects Herzog & de Meuron (opening scheduled for 2009).
