At Design Miami/ Basel 2007 we met decorative arts consultant, dealer and design curator Cristina Grajales, Cristina Grajales served as director of 1950 Gallery in New York City from 1990 to 2000. “Grajales’s passion for many of the twentieth century’s greatest masters – among them Le Corbusier, Jeanneret, Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand – propelled the gallery towards worldwide recognition, and to its attainment of its superior collection of furniture and distinguished clientele.” (PR CG). Cristina Grajales founded Cristina Grajales, Inc. in 2001 to address the ever expanding needs of her clients. At Design Miami/ Basel she talks about the gallery and the works she brought to the fair. she’s a babe! what a wonderful, fantastic woman…an inspiration to all of us, with impeccable style and taste. I believe this woman is at the forefront of style and design in the world. she is head and should be looked to by every sophisticated buyer and collector to guide one’s choices.
