Jean-Luc Moulène / Culturgest / Lisbon, Portugal

How does photography deal with sculpture and vice-versa? Seeing the work of Jean-Luc Moulène from the middle 90s till now, it offers us a wide spectrum of thinking about this relation. Moulène is interested in the space between: photographing the consuming products from the non-existing country Palestine, the thirty-nine “Strike” objects which the workers produced during their period of strike or the “Les Filles d’Amsterdam”, portraiting their identity, their body and their working-tool. A catalogue is published by Culturgest on the occasion of the exhibition: Jean-Luc Moulène: Opus (1995-2007) Documents (1999-2007). The exhibition, curated by Miguel Wandschneider is to be seen until the November 25, 2007 at Culturgest, Lisbon / Portugal in the Gallery 2. By Thom de Bock.
