Cary Leibowitz / Alexander Gray Associates, New York / Art Forum Berlin 2007

For Art Forum Berlin 2007, Alexander Gray Associates presented a solo exhibition of works by New York-based artist Cary Leibowitz. The booth was a re-creation of Leibowitz’ “Candy Ass Carnival” installations of the early 1990s with hundreds of individual artworks and multiples. In this video, Alexander Gray talks about Leibowitz’ work and the exhibition program of the gallery, which focuses on med-career visual artists who emerged in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.
