Do Ho Suh at Lehmann Maupin, New York

This video shows two exhibitions with works by artist Do Ho Suh at Lehmann Maupin Gallery in New York. The show in Lehmann Maupins space in Chelsea is dominated by the installation “Cause & Effect“, made of thousans of figures stacked atop one another. Later in 2007 Lehmann Maupin Gallery opened a second location in the Bowery area at Chrystie Street. Do Ho Suh inaugurates the Bowery space with the installation “Reflection“. It’s a continuation of the exhibition at Lehmann Maupin’s Chelsea location. The exhibition at the Bowery space is on show until the 2nd of February 2008. Do Ho Suh was born in 1962 in Seoul, Korea. He represented Korea in the 49th Venice Biennale. By VTV correspondent Darren Trenchard.
