Peter Friedl: Working / Kunsthalle Basel

January 22, 2008

“Working” at Kunsthalle Basel is Peter Friedl’s first major exhibition in Switzerland. Peter Friedl (born 1960 in Austria) currently lives and works in Berlin. His show at Kunsthalle Basel focuses on recent work and includes photographic images, the video “Liberty City”, and an installation featuring Friedl’s new book project “Working at Copan / Trabalhando no Copan”. Peter Friedl designed a curved wall that gives a new shape to the main exhibition space of the Kunsthalle. Peter Friedl uses the wall for displaying the uncut printer’s proofs of his book project.
