Miroslaw Balka: La Salida / Galeria Juana de Aizpuru / Madrid, Spain

The third stop on our gallery tour in Madrid was Gallery Juana de Aizpuru and the current exhibition Miroslaw Balka: “La Salida”. Miroslaw Balka was born in Poland in 1958, he lives in Warsaw. He has represented Poland at the Venice Biennale in 1990 and 1992 and participated in Documenta IX in 1992. He began his career with figurative sculpture, his present works use a minimalist language. Galería Juana de Aizpuru was founded in Sevilla in 1970, in 1983 the gallery opened a exhibition space in Madrid. Madrid, Spain, February 15, 2008.
