Swab International Contemporary Art Fair Barcelona 2008

May 17, 2008

Swab Barcelona is a fair for contemporary art located in an old galley arsenal in the heart of Barcelona. In its second year the fair reduced the number of galleries by 6 to 35 emerging galleries from 11 countries. According to the organizers this is the quality that sets it apart from ohter contemporary art events: a fair that is pleasant to visit with a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
Among the participants are for example galleries from Los Angeles (Chung King Project), Berlin (Galerie M + R Fricke), Shanghai (Gallery 55), I-20 (New York), Madrid (Maisterravalbuena), Sofia (pistolet), Budapest (Stereo Gallery) etc.
