Kathrin Haassengier / Galerie Beyer, Dresden

May 29, 2009

Galerie Beyer in Dresden currently presents a solo show with works by German artist Kathrin Haaßengier. We encountered her kinetic installations for the first time at the alternative art fair Und in Karlsruhe, Germany, where Kathrin Haaßengier showed the piece Aklinea. In Dresden, she shows new sculptures that play with sound, water, light, movement – and electricity.

Kathrin Haaßengier was born in Hannover in 1974. She studied at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Karlsruhe and was master-student of Gustav Kluge. Currently, she lives and works in Hamburg.
