Zilvinas Kempinas Magnetic Tape Installation / Remix

At this year’s Art Forum Berlin, Berlin’s international fair for contemporary art, Spencer Brownstone Gallery presented a magnetic tape installation by Zilvinas Kempinas. It was the only work on display at the gallery’s booth. The Lithuanian artist, who lives and works in New York is known for his works that use unspooled videotape as sculptural medium. At the 53rd International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia in Venice, Zilvinas Kempinas represented Lithuania with his installation TUBE.
