Wynwood Expansion / The Wynwood Walls Outdoor Mural Project / Wynwood Art District, Miami
December 16, 2010
The Wynwood Walls project began December 2009 as a joint production of Tony Goldman, Goldman Properties and Jeffrey Deitch. This year, Wynwood Walls got four new murals by Ryan McGinness, Ben Jones, Dearraindrop and assume vivid astro focus. The Wynwood expansion also features special sculptures by FriendsWithYou and Kenny Scharf, murals by Ron English and Space Invader, and an exhibition with works by Peter Tunney. VernissageTV attended the public party on December 2nd that was held to celebrate the completion of Phase I of Wynwood Walls, and the opening of the Assume Vivid Astro Focus wallpaper labyrinth.
During the party VernissageTV’s Sabine Trieloff had the chance to speak with Tony Goldman and his daughter Jessica about the Wynwood Walls project. To watch the respective videos and photo gallery click here!
