Gert and Uwe Tobias: Dresdener Paraphrasen at CFA Berlin
October 18, 2012
For the exhibition Dresdener Paraphrasen at the Kupferstich-Kabinett, which is currently a guest at the gallery Contemporary Fine Arts in Berlin, the artists Gert and Uwe Tobias took on a particular challenge: from the extensive holdings of the museum, the artist brothers selected unique masterworks of graphic art from past centuries, which they then interpreted and adapted from a contemporary perspective. This video provides you with a video tour of the exhibition and statements by Nicole Hackert (Contemporary Fine Arts) and Michael Hering (Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden).
