VTV Classics (r3): VernissageTV Drawing Project, Scope Miami (2006)

What do you do, when you have a booth at an art fair, but can’t be there? This is the situation, VernissageTV was facing at Scope Art Fair Miami 2006. Obviously we were there to cover Scope Miami 2006, but we had to cover other events, too. So we had the idea that the visitors could entertain themselves by letting them draw. We bought drawing paper and markers and set everything up. We didn’t know if this was a good idea, but when we came back from the shootings, we were thrilled. It worked, and soon the walls of the booth were filled with beautiful, crazy, colorful, monochrome drawings, paintings, and statements. So the VTV Drawing Project 2006 was a gratifying experience which we finally wanted to document with a book that contains all the drawings and a video. The book will be published soon, and this is the video (short version).

This is another segment in our series r3 that highlights the treasures of VernissageTV’s huge archive. R3 is a series of VernissageTV classics, now re-mastered, re-edited and reissued in High Definition. Click here for the complete list of videos. Click here for the original post.
