Interview with Amanda Levete (Future Systems) / Design Miami/ Basel
Together with Jan Kaplicky Amanda Levete heads Future Systems, an architectural and design practice based in London. Future Systems realized many prestigious projects such as retails designs for Comme des Garçons in New York, Tokyo and Paris and the Selfridges department store in Birmingham. For Established & Sons Amanda Levete designed the sofa “Chester” and the bench “Drift”. Amanda Levete talks about the ideas behind “Drift”, one of the differences between designing furniture and buildings and Future Systems. Design Miami/ Basel, June 15, 2006.
