Brazilian Pavilion, 52nd Venice Biennale
José Damasceno (born in Rio de Janeiro in 1968) and Angela Detanico (born in Caxias do Sul in 1974) & Rafael Lain (born in Caxias do Sul in 1973) represent Brazil at the 52nd Venice Biennial. Jacopo Crivelli Visconti (born in Naples, Italy, in 1973) is the curator of the Brazilian representation. Since 1993, the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo is responsible for curating and organizing the exhibition at the Brazilian Pavilion in Venice which was one of the last spaces to be constructed in the Giardini. 52nd International Art Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia, Venice, June 9, 2007.
