Currently, the gallery von Bartha Garage in Basel, Switzerland, presents new works by Swiss artist Beat Zoderer. Beat Zoderer is often classified as a concrete artist, but his work repeatedly plays and undermines the stringency and rationality of concrete art. Zoderer’s media are drawings, paintings, sculptures, and installation.
Beat Zoderer was born in Zürich, Switzerland in 1955. From 1971 to 1978 he worked in several architectural offices. Since 1979 he works as a freelance artist in Wettingen / Switzerland. A comprehensive exhibition of his works was on show last year at Haus Konstruktiv in Zürich, Switzerland.
