<p><a href="http://davidshrigley.com/" title="official website">David Shrigley</a> is an artist who works with various media: <a href="http://davidshrigley.com/animation/animations.html">animation</a>, <a href="http://davidshrigley.com/list_drawings.html">drawing</a>, <a href="http://davidshrigley.com/list_sculpture.html">sculpture</a>, <a href="http://davidshrigley.com/list_photographs.html">photography</a>. He is known for his cartoons released in softcover books and animations. At the <a href="http://www.museum-ludwig.de/">Museum Ludwig</a> in Cologne, Germany, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Shrigley" title="David Shrigley at Wikipedia">David Shrigley</a> presents <a href="http://museenkoeln.de/ausstellungen/mlu_0808_shrigley/">monotypes</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monotyping">prints made in a single copy</a>. Unlike his black-and-white drawings with their comic strip aesthetic, the monotypes on display at the Museum Ludwig are very colorful, but they show the same bizarre and morbid humor. VernissageTV attended the press preview and the film screening / opening of the exhibition. This video mainly documents the press preview. To view his animations we recommend <a href="http://davidshrigley.com/animation/animations.html">David Shrigley&#8217;s website</a> and <a href="http://de.youtube.com/results?search_query=david+shrigley">YouTube</a>.<br />
