With the exhibition “The Expanded Eye. Stalking the Unseen” the Kunsthaus Zurich is showing an exhibition which takes a look at “the ever-widening horizons of the human eye in the age of its physiologically and technologically extended faculties” (PR Kunsthaus). The exhibition includes renowned works by Op Artist Bridget Riley, the Surrealist Salvador Dalí and video artist Nam June Paik. Two important highpoints are the reconstruction of spaces from the 1960s by artists such as Bridget Riley, Gianni Colombo, François Morellet, and Julio Le Parc, and a substantial program of films. The exhibition is curated by Bice Curiger. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue, available in the Museum Shop. The Expanded Eye (June 16 – September 3, 2006), Kunsthaus Zurich, August 10, 2006.
