Anton Stankowski was one of the most influential designers of the 20th century and recognised proponent of concrete, constructive art. With the exhibition of works by the Belgian artist Jan De Cock (born 1976), Haus Konstruktiv presents the youngest artist to date at Haus Konstruktiv in the context of a comprehensive solo project. In 1998, Stankowski died at the age of 92. On the 100th anniversary of Anton Stankowski’s birth, a wide-ranging retrospective presents a comprehensive overview of this works of fine and applied arts. Haus Konstruktiv primarily focuses on important works and advertising media from his highly productive years in Zurich from 1929 to 1934. The travelling exhibition is accompanied by a comprehensive catalogue.

With the exhibition of works by the Belgian artist Jan De Cock (born 1976), Haus Konstruktiv presents the youngest artist to date at Haus Konstruktiv in the context of a comprehensive solo project. For Haus Konstruktiv, the artist has developed a new group of sculptural works staged in conjunction with an extensive photographic archive. In addition, De Cock integrates into his ensemble of works a series of “stolen” images from Haus Konstruktiv’s Stankowski exhibition.
