The Rubell Family Collection’s director Mark Coetzee is originally from Cape Town, South Africa, where he set up the Fine Art Cabinet, a not-for-profit space, where he curated over 60 exhibitions. Coetzee has published extensively on art, writing for journals such as the Mail and Guardian, Revue Noire and the Sunday Independent.
