Constructing New Berlin / Reception Bass Museum of Art, Miami
The Bass Museum of Art Miami presents “Constructing New Berlin”, a multi-generational survey, including approximately eighteen Berlin-based artists of various nationalities working in painting, sculpture, photography, film installation, video-installation, sound, and performance art. A selection of artists includes Olafur Eliasson, Janet Cardiff, George Bures Miller, Swetlana Heger, Thomas Demand, Carsten Nicolai, and Frank Thiel. The majority of works in the exhibition are from the twentieth-century, including a number of new pieces made specifically for this project.
