The Museum of Modern Art, New York, is showing a major retrospective of Canadian artist Jeff Wall. Jeff Wall (born 1946) is widely recognized as one of the most adventurous and inventive artists of his generation. The retrospective at the MoMA comprises 40 works that span Wall’s carer from 1978 to the present. Five recent pictures are shown for the first time in North America. The exhibition is on view from February 25 through May 14, 2007. The MoMA publishes two publications to accompany the exhibition: The exhibition catalogue and a selection of Jeff Wall’s essays and interviews. Museum of Modern Art, New York, March 2, 2007.
