Joanna Thornberry of Timothy Taylor Gallery and New York correspondent Theodore Bouloukos talk about the artists Martin Maloney and Richard Patterson who’s work was presented by the gallery at the Armory Show 2007. Martin Maloney was born in London in 1961. His paintings and collages reflect the world around him, “injecting urban scenes with life and vivid color. His observational paintings of people in his neighborhood are contemporary versions of traditional genre painting, still life and portrait” (PR TTG). Richard Patterson (born in Surrey in 1963) studied at Goldsmith’s College in London. He lives and works in Dallas, Texas. The Armory Show 2007, February 24, 2007.
