Between May 9th-12th 2007, the Korea International Art Fair held its sixth annual edition at the COEX Exhibition Halls in Seoul. A project of the Galleries Association of Korea, the fair has gathered this year 209 galleries from 18 countries, doubling its exhibition space from previous editions. Following the invitation of the Korean galleries at ARCO in Madrid, Spain has been invited as the guest country of KIAF 2007. Curator Toni Berini has selected 14 galleries from the Spanish art market, as well as a range of works from young artists, which has been presented under the title “New Contemporary Art from Spain: a provisional”. Furthermore, a special exhibition of Korean young artists, titled “Something Mr. C. Can’t Have”, has been curated by Kim Hyujin.
