Interview with Anna Somers Cocks / History of The Art Newspaper / part 1/3

The Art Newspaper is perhaps the most widely read arts journal. Many people know The Art Newspaper through the special daily editions from the art fairs Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach and Frieze London which are distributed free. It was founded by Anna Somers Cocks in 1990. We were curious about why she thought that the art world needed a newspaper like this and how The Art Newspaper became such a success. So VernissageTV went to Torino / Italy to ask her about the early days of The Art Newspaper. Torino / Italy, July 20, 2007. Part 1/3.
