Daniel Domig in conversation with Theodore Bouloukos at Thrust Projects, New York / part 1/2

Currently, New York-based gallery Thrust Projects presents a two person exhibition of new paintings by Daniel Domig and a video by Audry Liseron-Monfils. Daniel Domig is an American-Austrian artist. He was born in 1983 in Vancouver and raised in Salzburg. He currently lives and works in Vienna. In this video, New York Correspondent Theodore Bouloukos and Daniel Domig discuss the artist’s Domig’s contemplative paintings. “Domig’s paintings are vaguely and dreamily associative, evoking personal memories and visual and literary references.” The exhibition runs through 4 November 2007. Interview: Theodore Bouloukos. Camera: Christopher Domig. September 16, 2007. Part 1/2.
