Bettina Pousttchi: Reality Reset / Kunsthalle Barmen / Germany

The exhibition “Reality Reset” with works by Bettina Pousttchi (born 1971, lives and works in Berlin) arranged in five spacious rooms at Kunsthalle Barmen is presented by Von der Heydt Museum, Wuppertal. On display are central works (photographs, videos and sculptures) of the past ten years along with “Black Out” – new sculptures in which Bettina Pousttchi further develops themes from her photographic series “Parachutes” and “Take Off”. The video works “Docu Clip: The Katharina Show” and “Docu Clip: To good neighbors” represent another focus of the show which runs from 11 November, 2007 until 24 February, 2008. On the occasion of the exhibition a catalogue with the interview: “Bettina Pousttchi in conversation with Petra Löffler” is published by Von der Heydt Museum, Wuppertal and Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther König, Köln.
