Transmediale 2008: Conspire / Festival for art and digital culture, Berlin

Transmediale is a forum of communication for artists, media workers and a broad public interested in the arts. First conceived in close relation to the Berlinale film festival, the festival changed its name from “VideoFest” to “Transmediale” in 1997/98. After two years as a guest of the Academy of Arts, Transmediale returns to Berlin’s landmark House of World Cultures to present its 2008 edition under the theme “Conspire”. Impressions from the opening night, January 29, 2008. By VTV correspondent Lizza May David.
