The Age of the Marvellous / Old Trinity Church, London

The Age of the Marvellous is the title of an exhibition in the former Holy Trinity Church (built in 1828 by Sir John Soane) in London. The Age of the Marvellous features over 60 works of art, most of them especially produced for the exhibition. The artists Hilary Berseth, Nicola Bolla, Paul Fryer, Adam Fuss, Reece Jones, Wolfe von Lenkiewicz, Alastair Mackie, Kate MccGwire, Polly Morgan, Martin Sexton, Alyson Shotz, Maria Novella Del Signore, Ben Tyers, Keith Tyson, Jonathan Wateridge, and Hugo Wilson turn the entire church, including the crypt and the park outside, into a contemporary Cabinet of Curiosities. Conceived and curated by All Visual Arts Director Joe La Placa, The Age of the Marvellous is the arts organization’s third major exhibition since it was launched in 2008.
