VernissageTV Classics (r3): Tara Donovan: Untitled (Plastic Cups) at PaceWildenstein (2006)

This is the first episode in our new series r3 that highlights the treasures of VernissageTV’s archive. R3 is a series of VernissageTV classics, now re-mastered, re-edited and reissued in High Definition. The series starts with a short that documents Tara Donovan’s 2006 exhibition at PaceWildenstein (now The Pace Gallery) in New York.

Tara Donovan lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She is known for her use of everyday manufactured materials.

Since her 2006 exhibition at PaceWildenstein, she had several solo shows in institutions and galleries such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego; PaceWildenstein, New York; and the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indiana. From February 18 until March 19, she will have a solo show titled Drawings (Pins) at The Pace Gallery, 25th Street.
