Twin Tastes & Tongues is a multimedia exhibition by Spanish artist Antoni Miralda at Instituto Cervantes in Beijing, China. Miralda exhibited at the Barcelona Pavilion in the last edition of the Shanghai Biennale. His current project relates, through language and taste, Chinese and Spanish sociologies in different artistic media, performing a comparative approach between the two cultures. Antoni Miralda traces a dialogue between the different culinary traditions of Barcelona and Shanghai, twin cities since 2001. The project will have the special collaboration of Chinese artist Li Jin, whose work also is about gastronomy, using traditional Chinese artistic techniques. Twin Tastes & Tongues is a project of Screen Projects with the collaboration of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA).
