Daros Latinamerica Collection at Fondation Beyeler

Daros Latinamerica is one of the most comprehensive collections of contemporary Latin American art. The exhibition Daros Latinamerica Collection at Fondation Beyeler in Riehen (Basel, Switzerland), introduces the visitors to the Collection by presenting a concentrated selection of works from the Daros Latinamerica Collection. At present, the collection comprises over one thousand works by more than one hundred artists such as Carlos Amorales, Luis Camnitzer, Lygia Clark, Carlos Cruz-Diez, José Damasceno, Leandro Erlich, Alfredo Jaar, Los Carpinteros, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Ernesto Neto, Helio Oiticica. The pieces are both individual and groups of works in all media and genres, created from the 1960s to the present day.

The exhibition at Fondation Beyeler features works by Juan Carlos Alom, Guillermo Kuitca, Jorge Macchi, Cildo Meireles, Ana Mendieta, Oscar Muí±oz, Wilfredo Prieto, Miguel Angel Rí­os, Miguel Angel Rojas, Doris Salcedo, Santiago Sierra, and Melanie Smith. The exhibition is curated by Sam Keller (Director, Fondation Beyeler), Dr. Hans-Michael Herzog (Artistic Director, Daros Latinamerica) und Ioana Jimborean (Associate Curator, Fondation Beyeler).

The exhibition runs concurrently to the Odilon Redon exhibition at Fondation Beyeler.
