At Art Cologne 2015, the gallery Ben Brown Fine Arts (London and Hong Kong) presented works by the Cuban sculptor Yoan Capote: a large floor sculpture and drawings that preview future works. Yoan Capote studied at the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana, graduating in 2001, and his work has been exhibited extensively in the United States, Europe and Cuba. Capote has received awards and grants from prestigious institutions such as UNESCO; Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, New York; Pollock-Krasner Foundation, New York; and Brownstone Foundation, Paris. Notable collections include the Museum Beelden aan Zee, The Hague; Arizona State University Art Museum, Tempe; Daros Latinamerica Collection, Zurich; Kadist Art Foundation, Paris and San Francisco; and Pizzuti Collection, Columbus.
