Johanna Jackson & Dana Dart McLean at Human Resources Los Angeles

This video takes you to the opening reception of the exhibition What It Means to Learn at Human Resources Los Angeles. For this show, the artists Johanna Jackson and Dana Dart McLean have created collaborative paintings, sculpture, and installation. As the text about the exhibition informs, “each of the works on view engages a similar humor about blurring between representational and functional objects: a sculpture that is a mirror, a painting that is a hat.” At the opening, Peter Hernandez, Busy Gangnes, and Nickels Sunshine performed a collaboratively choreographed piece, using sculpture by Dana Dart McLean and Johanna Jackson.
