The legendary Bernese art dealer and auctioneer Eberhard W. Kornfeld, a friend and companion of Ernst Beyeler, maintained a close and cordial relationship with Alberto Giacometti. This lecture traces the life of Alberto Giacometti, focusing on the shared experiences in the context of the artist’s relationship with the art dealer, which was first business and then friendly.
