Herbert Bayer Retrospective at Suppan Fine Arts at Art Cologne 2019

The booth of the gallery Suppan Fine Arts (Vienna, Austria) at Art Cologne 2019 is dedicated to the artist Herbert Bayer. On the occasion of 100 years of Bauhaus, Suppan Fine Arts features paintings, graphics, sculpture and photography by the Bauhaus artist Herbert Bayer. One of the highlights of the exhibition is a piece entitled “Primary Landscape” (1967), an object that visualizes a project that has never been realized, a fountain commissioned by the Atlantic Richfield Co. for the public space. In this video we have a look at the exhibition and Martin Suppan provides us with interesting insights into the live and work of Herbert Bayer.
