Roman Stańczak: Flight. Polish Pavilion at Venice Art Biennale 2019

The Polish Pavilion at the 58th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia features a new work by the artist Roman Stańczak entitled “Flight”: a full-size luxury jet that has been turned inside out. The aircraft has been cut in half and turned inside out so that its interior with cockpit and on-board equipment, as well as passenger seats, emerge on the outside, while the wings and the hull are wound inside, to the interior of the sculpture.
