Yamamoto Masao is a Japanese photographer who is known for his small photographs. Born in Japan in 1957 he studied oil painting, but then discovered photography as his ideal medium. Yamamoto Masao currently has a solo exhibition at Galerie Albert Baumgarten in Freiburg i. Breisgau (Germany), where he presents works from two of his series: “A Box of KU” and “KAWA”. In this video, gallerist Albert Baumgarten speaks about the artist and the works on display (in German language with English subtitles).
