Under the title “Living Colour” the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern is showing the first retrospective in Switzerland of the American artist Lee Krasner. Lee Krasner is one of the pioneers of Abstract Expressionism. She is known for her vivid, powerful paintings. Over a period of over 50 years Krasner repeatedly reinvented herself and questioned her own artistic activity. The exhibition is curated and organized by the Barbican Centre, London, in cooperation with the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, the Zentrum Paul Kee, Bern, and the Guggenheim Bilbao. Lee Krasner: Living Colour at Zentrum Paul Klee runs until May 10, 2020.
