Reto Boller: bereit zu tragen / Kunsthalle Arbon

For this video we went to Arbon, on the shores of Lake Constance. The Swiss artist Reto Boller currently has a solo exhibition at the Kunsthalle there. His site-specific art installation includes a bright and completely empty “white cube” made of wooden walls and adhesive foil that takes up most of the exhibition hall, and a narrow dark storage or preparation room where the artist’s experimental paintings, sculptures and assemblages can be seen.

Reto Boller’s solo exhibition at Kunsthalle Arbon is titled “bereit zu tragen” (ready to wear / prêt-à-porter). The show runs until May 16, 2021. In this video, the curator of the exhibition, Deborah Keller, provides us with an introduction to Reto Boller’s exhibition, his work and the Kunsthalle Arbon in general (in German language, English subtitles available).
