Phyllida Barlow: Frontier / Haus der Kunst, Munich

Until 25 July 2021, Haus der Kunst in Munich presents a major retrospective of the work of British sculptor Phyllida Barlow. Curated by Damian Lentini, the exhibition features key pieces from several of Phyllida Barlow’s ground-breaking exhibitions over the past two decades, several new site-specific works, and a vast selection of works on paper.

Phyllida Barlow is best known for her large installations for which she uses everyday materials such as timber, cardboard, cement, clay, plastic pipes, and colorful textiles. In 2017 she represented Great Britain at the Venice Art Biennale.

This video provides you with an exhibition walkthrough and an interview with Damian Lentini, who talks about the artist and her work.
