In honor of his ninetieth birthday, the Basel Kunstraum Hebel_121 is hosting a retrospective of the artistic work of Paul Göttin. For more than 70 years, the Paul Göttin has been active in a variety of cultural fields, as an artist, graphic designer, draftsman, poet, columnist, actor, theater director on stages that mean the world to him – and not least as a valued teacher.

Paul Göttin was born in Basel in 1932. After attending the School of Arts and Crafts, he worked as a decorator for various Basel specialty stores. He has lived and worked in Allschwil for many years.

In this video we attend the opening reception of the exhibition on January 8, 2022. The show runs until March 12, 2022.
